Underground rapper 'Rich Amiri' has been putting in work this year. His last 2023 project 'Evolution' was aptly titled, as it reflected the rapper's hunger for growth and fame. Singles like 'Can't Die' and 'Poppin' (ft. Lil Tecca) were bouncy, aggressive and showcased Rich Amiri's unique flows and vocals over fresh Pluggnb beats.  'Ghetto Fabulous' takes everything good from his previous album and elevates ideas like never before. Songs such as 'One Call' and 'Codeine Crazy' contain addictive hooks and unique vocal melodies that sit over simple, aggressive beats. Rich Amiri has paved a lane of his own with his unique take on the new-wave Kankan/Yeat-inspired sound. Songs such as Walk In and Can't Die have cemented his place among similar up-and-coming rappers who are experimenting with new directions to take hip hop. In his latest release, Rich Amiri attempts an alternative/R&B track with many elements from his previous songs, especially through his vocal style. I think the morphing of these styles could produce something great for rappers of Amiri's class, and that this sound should be explored in future albums.
