Vultures on the Verge: Kanye & Ty Dolla $ign's Taiwan Event May Not Happen After All

Kanye & Ty Dolla Sign

In the unpredictable world of music, plans often change as swiftly as the beats drop. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign had recently announced a much-anticipated ‘Vultures Listening Experience’ in Taiwan, set to unfold on August 25th. Yet, whispers of a cancellation have surfaced, leaving fans in suspense.

Reports from Taiwan News and Mirror Media suggest the event might not happen as planned. Though no official statement has been released, Mirror Media notes that "... the organizer informed the manufacturers that ‘the event is cancelled.’” Despite this, the ticketing website still lists the event, with the latest update from August 10th focused on stage design and VIP seating, adding an air of uncertainty to the situation.

Ty Dolla $ign's social media channels remain silent, offering no clues or confirmations, further deepening the mystery surrounding the event. Meanwhile, fans in Korea seem to be in luck, as the ‘Vultures Listening Experience’ scheduled there on August 23rd appears to be moving forward without a hitch.

As these live events teeter on the edge of cancellation, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign continue to tinker with their joint project, Vultures 2. The album, like the artists themselves, is ever-evolving. Just last week, West added a new verse to the track “Forever,” diving deeper into existential themes. His lyrics probe the concept of time, with lines like “Just to cope, just a possible word of hope, like/ Maybe, possibly, if, time didn’t exist/ Four billion years in this bitch/ These lifetimes, blips,” showcasing his trademark blend of introspection and wordplay.

The surprises didn’t stop there. On August 16th, West and Ty Dolla $ign dropped an additional four tracks on the digital deluxe versions of Vultures 2, featuring guest appearances that sent ripples through the music world. Kid Cudi lends his voice to “Gun to My Head,” Travis Scott adds his flair to “Can U Be,” and “Drunk” sees a collaboration with Kodak Black and Latin sensation Peso Pluma. Each track, a testament to the album’s dynamism, adds new layers to the ongoing narrative of West and Ty’s musical journey.

As fans eagerly await further updates, the fate of the Taiwan event is yet to be determined, a reminder of the unpredictability that has come to define Kanye West’s storied career.

Rich Amiri's New Album 'Ghetto Fabulous' Cements His Name Among Biggest Up-And-Coming Rappers

Underground rapper 'Rich Amiri' has been putting in work this year. His last 2023 project 'Evolution' was aptly titled, as it reflected the rapper's hunger for growth and fame. Singles like 'Can't Die' and 'Poppin' (ft. Lil Tecca) were bouncy, aggressive and showcased Rich Amiri's unique flows and vocals over fresh Pluggnb beats.  'Ghetto Fabulous' takes everything good from his previous album and elevates ideas like never before. Songs such as 'One Call' and 'Codeine Crazy' contain addictive hooks and unique vocal melodies that sit over simple, aggressive beats. One Call, in particular, might just be the single to put Rich Amiri's name on the map, especially as it's begun to see virality on TikTok.  If you've enjoyed projects from similar artists like Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Dom Corleo, be sure to give Rich Amiri's latest album a listen here:

Comethazine's Newest Album Is A Solid Continuation

It's nice to see a few of the songs that have been teased over the past couple years are finally getting album placements, including the highly-anticipated single 500 Hours. Overall, Bawskee 5 is a great continuation of the artist's sound. Each song is reckless an
